Freshly laundered

Free of odors (including smoke or strong scents)

Free of stains, rips, or tears

In-season and current styles

In working condition (zippers, buttons, and closures fully functional)

Please bring donations in lightweight 13-gallon trash bags (not heavy bags or boxes), as this helps our team with easier handling and sorting.

We do not accept home goods or large items unless specifically requested by The Caring Closet.
Wondering why donations have to be freshly laundered?
We get it, washing your clothing before you donate it seems like a chore, but we promise the requirement comes with reason! Crisis doesn't wait for our team to run a load of laundry. We require our clothing to be freshly laundered so that when we receive the call that a family is in need of clothing items, we can pack and deliver what they need ASAP! Your act of laundering the clothing before donating it helps our organization serve others well.
